These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Verse Skill and its services, including video book summaries, courses, and eBooks (the "Services"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use the Services.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

2. Subscriptions, Plans & Billing

  • Some content is free; premium content requires a paid subscription or one-time purchase.
  • Prices are displayed on our Pricing page and are charged in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Local-currency figures shown are approximate, for reference only; the actual charge is in USD.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (e.g. monthly or yearly) until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment provider to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period.
  • Applicable taxes may be added depending on your location.

3. Refund Policy — No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. Because the Services provide immediate access to digital content, we do not offer refunds or credits for any subscription fees, renewal charges, one-time purchases, or partially used periods, except where a refund is strictly required by applicable law. Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for amounts already paid. By purchasing, you expressly acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

4. License & Acceptable Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You agree that you will not:

  • Share, resell, sublicense, or distribute your account or any content;
  • Copy, download (except where expressly permitted), record, scrape, or redistribute content;
  • Circumvent any access controls, paywalls, or security measures;
  • Use the Services for any unlawful, infringing, or abusive purpose;
  • Use bots, crawlers, or automated tools to access the Services without our permission;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.

5. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all text, summaries, designs, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Verse Skill or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Some videos are hosted by and embedded from third-party platforms (such as YouTube or Vimeo) and remain the property of their respective owners; your use of such content is also subject to those platforms' terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

6. Third-Party Content & Links

The Services may include or link to third-party content, websites, and embedded media. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

7. Educational Purpose & Disclaimers

Our content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and is not professional, financial, legal, medical, or other advice. The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verse Skill and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Verse Skill from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we consider harmful. You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time.

11. Changes to the Services & Terms

We may modify, add, or discontinue features of the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Verse Skill operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
